About Us

Welcome to the web portal for postgraduate students. The Postgraduate Studies team is here help you make your study experience at the University of Salford fruitful, fulfilling and successful. The Peel Building on the University of Salfgord campus

In conjunction with schools and research centres, we are here to help encourage best research practice, supervision and training across disciplines. The team encourages and maintains a strong postgraduate research community and in part this is achieved by providing a number of opportunities where research students can interact and engage with each other. Initiatives run by the team include the Salford Postgraduate Research Training programme (SPoRT), which offers a comprehensive and complimentary training programme for postgraduate researchers, and the Salford Postgraduate Annual Research Conference (SPARC), which offers an excellent opportunity for students to publicise and test their research, to develop interdisciplinary awareness and to engage with their fellow students across a range of disciplines. For further help and guidance, please don’t hesitate to contact the office.
