EndNote X5 is bibliographic software which can be used to organise, store and manage references. This session is designed to introduce you to EndNote and provide hands-on experience so you will be able to leave the session and start using the software to support your research.

The session covers: creating an EndNote Library; importing references from databases; creating references from PDF files; creating in-text citations; formatting bibliographies in Microsoft Word.

Prerequisite: Familiarity with MS Word, and some understanding of using electronic subject databases.
