Information Management for the Web
Cristina Costa, Research and Learning Technologies Manager, Academic Development
Tuesday 12 February 2013, 10:00 - 12:00
Managing information on the web is probably one of the hardest tasks of being digitally connected and working online. The wealth of information freely available and daily created is huge. Hence, sieving thought relevant information can be a bit overwhelming. However, there are different ways of accessing, retrieving, and organising information relevant to researchers in rather efficient ways. This discussion-based seminar will cover some of the most useful information management strategies for researchers: file sharing, note taking, bibliography organisation and bookmarking of resources.
To book a place, use the online booking system. Registration will open a month in advance of the session, and venue details will be emailed to you.
